Terry Stevenson is an experienced photo journalist with a strong motorcycle background starting from the mid 1970s. Articles and photographs have been published in many leading magazines around the world including the UK, USA, Australia, and of course New Zealand.
While he covers mostly motorcycle related topics including testing NZ Superbikes on race tracks, Terry has also been a renoun road bike, construction machinery, tractor, farm bike and ATV tester for various industry magazines.
The most powerful bike Terry has ridden is Dani Pedrosa's $2 million factory Repsol Honda RC212V at Valencia, Spain - the only Kiwi to have ridden a MotoGP bike!
The most powerful tractor he's driven is a 475hp John Deere 9530 with a pair of towed scrapers weighing 96T fully loaded, the largest John Deere tractor in NZ at the time. But if size counts then there's the New Holland FR9060 forage harvestor, a 35 tonne Sumitomo SH530 excavator, a big CAT D8NR bulldozer, a massive 35T Komatsu HD405-7 dump truck and a technical CAT 140M road grader using joystick steering and controls.
Over the past decade Terry has interviewed over 30 motorcycle world champions from several codes, including multi MotoGP world champions Valentino Rossi, Casey Stoner and Jorge Lorenzo.
